BIRD BY BIRD INTRO

In the introduction of “Bird By Bird” by Anne Lamott, she talks about herself and experiences. Upon sharing a bit of her life, she also gives suggestion on writing and different ideas the readers can relate to. Anne states that writing gives people the excuse to travel along with help of paying attention and being aware or ones surroundings. Growing up she struggled at times when writing but once she found out her that dad wrote pornography, she was sparked to write journals and other pieces about some of her favorite writers. As every writer does, she struggled on her way to success very much but after her father passed from brain cancer, her interests really sparked. She now teaches writers workshop classes and inspires her students to become good writers.
